Cafe Singapura

The other day, I went to yet another S'pore food restaurant, Cafe Singapura, with a friend.
The restaurant had a nice atmosphere, located right in front of TV Asahi Broadcasting Station. But the place was so empty, though it was lunchtime.
Ate chicken rice. I requested for no-skin. They had their original soy sauce, but I requested for the usual dark soy sauce as well. I think the dark soy sauce goes better with the chicken rice. As for the taste, it was OK. Can't complain since we're in Japan, though if this was in Singapore, I woudn't go all the way to eat that chicken rice. It was very ordinary, so-so.
But the Kopi here was not Kopi at all. So diluted... tasteless... I think they just filtered the coffee (maybe not even the local coffee at all), and added condensed milk to call it Kopi. Not at all like what you expect of kopi. Now that there are more Singapore restaurants available in Japan, this is one place I won't frequent... By the way, my favourite (and was my dad's favourite) coffee, was the "Reg Pupil Brand" from Nam Seng & Co. You'll know by the logo, of a student walking!
