「汚れ」役 / "Dirty" Role
2008年 06月 07日
Who's this dirty mutt!?
The shoot for the movie Islay has a bit role in, started today. We went to the location early in the morning. Islay was clean initially...
But again, Islay's to act out a "dirty" role, so she had to have "make-up" on her to look really dirty!
Have to dirty her hair near the butt too, coz they wanted it to look yellowish, as if stained by urine and poo! Used the brown chalk (for show-dogs) to colour her hair. Often, you think of doggy models who have to look clean for their job, but sometimes, it's just the opposite, especially for roles that mutts are called for! But I find it fun and challenging!
Islay enjoyed herself on set, and played when there was waiting time. But the only thing I am concerned about is, it got a lot hotter close to noon time. There's more filming to do the latter half of this month, i.e. expected to be even hotter, so I'll really have to be well prepared for the heat... water, ice, paw-protection, etc etc.
Islay waiting for my commands. Sometimes, the dog has to work very far away, so you really need good control of your dog to work on set. What with cars running on the road just beside the location, it's really for the dog's safety, to properly train your dog to be ready for filming.
Islay in the car on the way home. Islay, please don't place your dirty paw on my car seat! Anyway, Islay will have some time off before her next shoot. Hope the coming days will be not too sunny, and no rain! Will let you know the details of the movie when the time comes, but anyway, Islay's role is a "dog" with no name! Being so dirty, we couldn't drop by at Islay's favourite cafes after the shoot, so Islay got chicken and treats after we got home!
