Part 2 of the Snow Bust Tour! If you haven't read Part 1, then click here! Lots of photos!
Japanese breakfast! Yummy! I had second helping some more!
The coffee here is yummy too, I love coffee!
Then to the "doggy road", a nature trail which is paradise to the dogs! Though it looks as if there's lots of snow here....
Here's the photo taken 2 years ago at the same place, for comparison. Can see there were lots more snow 2 before, and there was really a wall made of snow! (And it was a lot colder, as you can see from Islay's expression!) Very little snow this year.
There was a house of snow, Kamakura! Japanese igloo?
Happily walk down the doggy trail!
Peach the Bernese mountain dog, happily wades in the water in this snow! Amazing how they can really withstand, or rather, enjoy the cold!
I'm cold…
Peach, why are you in there?
Copycat!
Peach, doest the stick taste that good?
Dig Dig!
Hey there's snow on your whiskers!
Back at the lodging, tired? Sleepy?
Batteries charged!
Peach, once again in the waters.
Islay your eyes look scary!
Eating snow!
Corgis running in the snow, are like rabbits hopping! Too bad can't express that well enough through photos!
Jump!
Cautious Islay, feeling uneasy and started barking, at something which she thought was some "creature"? Just some branches actually...
Bark Bark! There's something out there!
Slowly, she'll go near the "creature" to check it out.
Sniff sniff! Check check!
After finding out it's no "creature" at all, Islay came running back with a big smile. Was she happy that it wasn't anything scary, or is she trying to hide her embarassment?
Sniff sniff, hey why are you in there?
Hina couldn't take the cold any longer, so the owner wrapped her, like a Kangaroo joey!
The swing is so high up there, you can't even sit there! Actually, because past years there were lots of snow, the snow reaches up there, but this year, so little snow, so can't even use the swing!
The owner says this little dog doesn't run much back home, but in the snow, see how she runs!
Flying!
Photo taking time!
I like this photo, though there's dogs with just the "tail", just the "body" etc!
Let's go back in line!
No road-hogging please! You're causing traffic jam!
The entrance to the Pension Green Wood where we stayed!
Lunch time! The curry here is yummy!!! Actually, it comes with lots of meat too, but I asked them to put only vegy for mine, coz I don't really like meat that much.
Then to the bus again, for our journey back home!
Everybody ready?
Had some dumpling and drinks in the bus, such great service!
This bus tour, organized by a training school in Setagaya, is always so fun! What is great, is that everyone here are concerned about proper dog training and manners, and believe in making dogs happy, and not treat dogs like accessories. So no sight-seeing, but it's OK for us, just seeing the dogs happy make us happy! Looking forward to the bus tour next year already!
